

Arabica Jawa Ijen Raung became the first Arabica coffee produced in East Java.
The certification of coffee issued by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights in 2013
gave this coffee a patent for the high quality Arabica Java Ijen-Raung coffee.
Bondowoso is now entering the second stage of the coffee cluster roadmap. In 2016,
the area of coffee plantations in the area reached almost 14 thousand hectares,
of which 7 thousand hectares were already in production. Until now, the production
has reached 2,700 tons, it comes from 44 Product Processing Units (UPH) and 1 cooperative.
With a well-maintained processing process, and high-quality coffee taste,
the coffee industry in the Raung and Ijen areas is now starting to be noticed by the world community.
With an effort to protect the forest and prioritize the quality of planting, care and processing,
coffee from Bondowoso will definitely become the legacy of the people of that area in the future.
